The First Epic to emerge into this world is Srimath Valmiki Ramayanam. Because of this, this epic is also called as Aadhi Kaaviyam. Kaaviyam means Epic. This epic and the essence found in it have fascinated lots and lots of people and almost all part explains the greatness of Avathara Purushan, Sri Ramarpiran.

Daily Parayanam of Srimath Valmiki Ramayanam is performed in early years. In this Valmiki Ramayanam, a separate Kaandam (a part or section) is the Sundara Kaandam, which explains the greatness, achievements, leelas etc of Anjaneyar is well explained. By doing Parayanam of Sundara Kaandam, it is 100% sure, we can get lots of punyams and we can attain the divine feet of Sri Ramar.

At present situation, the minds of all the humans are cluttered with their own feelings, money, sorrow, evil thoughts etc. Inspite of not having the time, people atleast think that they should do parayanam of this Sundara Kaandam atleast once a day. But, some can do, but some cannot. It is the Bhagavan's duty to help his bhakthas and fulfill their needs and does the same way for his bhaktas. So, knowing all these, 9 slokas are taken, which has all the Sarahamsams (essence) of the entire Sundara Kaandam.

In this Navarathna Mantra Mala, each and every mantram has its own Flavor and Shakthi. There might be lots of problems that we might be facing as a daily routine in our life. But, by doing parayanam of this Maala for 9, 27 (or) 108 times daily (depending on the time), you can see a lots of positive changes in our life. Atleast, we can do parayanam of this maala for once as a group of our family member. By doing parayanam of this maala, it is said that we get the favour, which is equivalent to the favour what we get by doing parayanam of the entire Sundara Kaandam.

You can also explain about this Mantra Maala to your friends, relatives etc and thereby helping them to get out from their sorrows. So, bhakthas, do parayanam of this great mantra maala and wore this to Sri Rama and be happy.

Suryan - Maanickam

“Thatho Ravana nee thaaya: Seethaya: Sathurukarsana:
Eeyaesha patham Anveshdum Saarana – Sarithey Pathi”.

The Inner Message:

It is said that Hanuman has the power to defeat all the enemies as a single person. And since, Ravanan took Sitapiratti through the skyway, he also wanted to follow him on the same way.

The special explaination:

The above mantram is the first mantram in Sundara Kaandam and is said to be found in the midst of Ramayanam. And this mantra is said to be equivalent to the Gayathri Mantram. Because of this, this Mantra is said to be more special in midst of other Sundara Kaandam slokas.

This sloka is said to be the Hridhayam (Heart) or center point of Ramayanam and has an immense message to say to this world.

Sri Ramar is referred to as the Para Brahma Swaroopam and Sitapiratti is referred to as the Jeevan that is being separated from the Para Brahman. This small Jeevan (Sitapiratti) is pleasing to get united to the Parabrahmam and for that, we need a person like an Aacharyan. It is said that the best way of attaining the Aandavan (Perumal) is through an Aacharyan. Here, Hanuman acts as an Aacharyan, thereby helping Sitapiratti (a Jeevan) to get united with Sri Ramar (Parabrahmam).

The above slokam greatly explains about the greatness of Hanuman.

Connection with Navagraham:

The main graham that is related to Gayathri Mantra is the Suryan, the Sun God. The sky way is the street (lane) for Suryan and Hanuman is said to be the Sishyan (student) of Suryan. Because of this, he might know the way and that's the reason why he was sent. So, this first mantram is related to Suryan and the rathnam (stone) for Suryan is Maanickam. So, by doing Parayanam of this sloka, we can reach Sri Ramar, Hanuman and Surya Bhagavan too and doing so, our life will be bright like the sun.

Muthu – Chandran

“Yasya Thvethaani Sathvaari Vaanarenthra Yadha Thava!
Smuruthir Mathir Thruthir Thaakshyam Sa Karmasoona Seethathi !!”.

The Inner Message:

The great qualities like Sharp – mind, mind strength, the strongness in the aim (or) goal to achieve and the action performed to attain it of Hanuman are well explained in the above mantram. Likewise, if a person who has all the above said qualities can achieve all the things he needed and can overcome any obstacles in the life like Hanumanji.

Connection with Navagraham:

All the great qualities that are said are related and associated to the inner soul (or) mind. Chandran is the Graham who is responsible for one's great mind and the action of it. And the rathnam for Chandran is Muthu. And this Muthu will origin only from the sea, which is crossed by Hanuman. So, this Mantram is related to Chandran and Muthu.

By doing Parayanam of this Mantram, one can be strong in his mind and body and also can overcome any kind of hurdles in the life.

Pavazham (Coral) – Angaragan

“Anirvetha: Sriyo Moolam Anirvetha: Param Soogam!
Anivetho Hi Sathatham Sarvaartheshoo Pravarthaka:!!”

Activeness, enthusiasm etc., are some of the objects that are used as the basement for major wealth and higher level of achievement. Being lazy will not bring anything to our life.

Fastness in our action, activeness should be there in our life and through that we could attain anything.

Hanuman says the above mantram for him to get energy, activeness etc. Simultaneously, this mantram is also for this entire human community.

By doing Parayanam of the above said Mantram, we can get out of the sorrow, and get out of Chevvai dosham, to achieve victory over everything; and all kinds of property will reach us etc.

Maragatham (Emerald) – Mercury

"Namosthu Ramaya Salakshmanaya
Deivyai Cha Dhasyai Janakathmajaayai !
Namosthu Ruthrenthra Yamanilebya:
Namosthu Chandraka Maruthkanepya:"

The Inner Message:

Hanuman worships Sri Raman, Sita piratti and Lakshmanan as his prime deities followed by Rudran, Indiran, Yaman, and vaayu, Chandran, Suryan and Maruthkanangal. The above mantram explains this well. After saying this mantram only, Hanuman could able to see the Ashoka Vanam, where Sitapiratti is captured. This is the mantram, which lead the victory path for Hanuman to see Sita piratti. This mantram is greatly called as "Ramatharaka Mantram" by great saints and pre- generation peoples.

Pushparagam - Guru

"Priyyaana Sambhavethu: Kam Apriyaath Athigam Bhayam!
Thaapyaam He yae Viyujyanthae Namastheeshaam Mahathmanaam "

The Inner Message:

Generally problems that we face are due to the attraction or regression of that particular aspect. And as a result of that, we might get that are might not. If we get that we are happy but at that same time, we worry for that if we could not get that. (ie) if that particular thing gets moved away from us, we feel very bad. In the same way, we get angry on the things what we don't like and this angry later changes to fright.

So, this likes and dislike is the root cause of happiness and sorrow. Great Rishis and Mahans have won against these joy and sorrows (ie) over these this likes and dislikes. Hanuman in this slokam finally says that he really bow down to those Mahans.

The above mantram is explained through Sita Piratti and this is the main aspect that is well explained in Bhagavath Geetha.

Connection with Navagraham:

This mantram should be considered as the "Gnana Upadesham" from Sita Piratti. For Gnana, Guru Bhagavan is the moola (main) graham and this mantram is related to Guru Bhagavan. Pushparagam is the relevant stone for Guru Bhagavan.

So by chanting the above mantram, we get the blessings and Gnana from great Mahans and we can travel through their way to get the Mukthi. Simultaneously, we can have a mental dominance over likes and dislikes, which are the main aspect of happy and sorrow. By the thiruVarul of Guru, we get good respect and favour from others.

Vairam (Diamond) - Sukran

"Rama: Kamalabathraksha: Sarvasathva Manohara:!
Roopa Daakshinya Samppanna: Prasoodha Janakaathmajae"

The Inner Message:

This mantram explains the body structure, his beautiful walk, the beauty of the eyes etc., of Sri Ramar. He also explains not only the people gets attracted by the beauty of Sri Ramar but also all the Jeeva raasis including all the animals gets attracted towards him.

The person who always thinks good and do all the things in a good way only can explain beautiful things in a better way. By explaining the beauty of Sri Ramar it is well justified that Hanuman can be called with the name "Sollin Selvan".

Connection with Navagraham:

After the great explanation only Sita Piratti gets a faith that Hanuman is sent by Sri Ramar and as a confirmation Hanuman shows the 'Kazayani' (an ornament of Sri Ramar) to Sita Piratti. This particular incident is said to glow like a diamond and this issue gets an Sthanam (place or position) of a diamond. Diamond is the stone related to Sukran. Sukran is referred to as "Vidi Velli". He gives brightness to our lives. This mantram explains that the sorrow of Sita Piratti is going to get vanished and her life is going to get brightened and she is going to be happy ever after.

So, by chanting this mantram, not only our mind gets brightened, but also our body gets brightened and gets good health, tejas, which can attract people and top of it. We get a close relation and bhakti towards Sri Ramarpiran.

Thaasoham Kosalenthrasya Ramasya Akilishta Karmana".

The Inner Message:

This mantram is explained through Hanuman after the Asokavanam and the Lankan troops are destroyed. The inner explaination of this mantram is that Sri Ramar is a great warrior and a brave person and his brother, Lakshmanan is also a brave person. For them, everything ends only in victory and they do all the things only for the good and Hanuman follows them in the same way.

Connection with Navagraham:

The victory sound of Hanuman is the first lesson for the entire Arakkas in Lanka.

Since, Sani has caught Sita Piratti for a long time and as a result, she has suffered a lot. Now, he is going to catch hold of Ravana.

History and various Puranams say that Dasarathan is blessed by Sani and being his son, Sri Ramar will also be blessed by him. So, this mantram is related to Sani and Neelam (Blue stone) is the gem for Sani.

And after the victory over Ravanan, your life in this vanam (forest - the vans vasam) will come to an end and the Pattabhishekam for Sri Ramar is going to happen.

This above mantram doesn't make happy Sita Piratti alone but also gives a great mental strength of Sri Ramar too. This mantram also explains the greatness of Hanuman about his future happening about the Pattabishekam.

Connection with Navagraham:

To get out of any legal issues or any issues related to rescue, Kethu is the graham that will help us. So, this mantram is related for Kethu. And, another meaning of Kethu is Kodi (flag). Since, Sri Ramar is going to return back to Ayodhya through the Victory flag, it is well suited that this mantram is relevant to Kethu. By chanting this mantram, we get victory over everything, ashta Iyshwaryam, popularity in the midst of society, escape from sorrows, etc.
